KARACHI?-?Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah Wednesday assured the World Health Organization (WHO) delegation that full security would be provided to WHO teams engaged in Polio vaccination campaign in the Sindh province.
A 4-member delegation of World Health Organization led by Gido, country representative of WHO called on Sindh Chief Minister at the CM House Member National Task Force for Polio Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Principal Secretary (acting) to CM Muhammad Siddique Memon and others were present.
The Sindh CM after welcoming the WHO delegation, informed them of his government?s policy and system for eradication of polio from Sindh province.
He also expressed his deep sorrow on the incident of firing at WHO vehicle the other day near Sohrab Goth.
He assured the WHO team that the target fixed for administering polio drops and eradication of Polio from Sindh province would be achieved.
